Costs and Fees to have a Live-in caregiver

Most newly arrived live-in nannies charge minimum wage $8.00/hour. Nannies are required by law to work no less than 40 hours/ week in British Columbia. Any additional hours worked should be paid out at an overtime rate of time and a half. The nannies aren't to pay more than $325/month for room and board. The employer is responsible to pay taxes every month to Canada Customs and Revenue Agency.

Placement fees

Once you have made your choice of the perfect caregiver, All Nations Nannies will require a $200 non-refundable deposit before paperwork begins, then, when the nanny arrives in Canada another $200 will be requested. Or you can pay the whole amount at the start of processing.

6 Month Guarantee

Once the nanny has been chosen for your family and the paper work started, All Nations Nannies and Caregivers offers a 6 month Guarantee. If either you or the nanny feels the relationship isn't working out, All Nations Nannies and Caregivers will find a replacement as soon as possible, free of charge.
